Wednesday, July 23 at 7pm
All are welcome to bring any pets you have (dogs, cats, goldfish, etc.) to the front lawn at St. Matthias, as we thank God for the gift of our pets, and offer a special blessing to each pet! Those without pets are welcome to attend as well!
Election of our new Bishop
We have exciting news! Our Southwestern PA Synod Assembly resumed on June 12-14, and Pastor Melissa Stoller (Assistant to the Bishop and Director of Evangelical Mission) was elected as the new Bishop of our SWPA Synod! Our current Bishop, Kurt Kusserow, is retiring at the end of August, and Bishop-elect Stoller will begin serving on September 1. Please keep Bishop-elect Stoller, and our entire Synod, in your prayers in this time of joyful and prayerful transition!
Food 2 Go 4 Kids
Thanks to all those who continue to support our ministry to provide weekend meals to children in need at Maxwell Elementary School, titled "Food 2 Go 4 Kids"! We continue to provide meals for over 40 children at Maxwell.
